Four labels for a price
Live, delayed, reference, unavailable. If you cannot pick one, do not print the number.
Traders compare screens that were never the same instrument. A useful community starts by naming the print.
Live is a feed you are allowed to show, with a timestamp measured in seconds or minutes. Delayed is the same feed, late, and the delay is part of the label. Reference is a published rate — an ECB fixing, for example — and it is not a ticket you can hit. Unavailable is an empty cell.
ForexCommons uses a TradingView widget for the tape and the charts. EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/JPY in the snapshot repeat the ECB daily reference. Gold, Nasdaq 100, and WTI stay with the chart.
The paper desk may fill EUR/USD, GBP/USD, and USD/JPY from the ECB daily reference. The order ticket says so. It also says the fill is simulated, uses no real money, and is not advice.

A license is not a promise
Regulatory information is one part of due diligence. It does not guarantee fund safety or trading results.
A public register can show that a company held a permission on a date. It does not show that your deposit is safe, that withdrawals will clear, or that a marketing site and the licensed entity are the same firm.
ForexCommons will not write 'regulated means safe', and it will not write 'no warning means no risk'. Status labels stay narrow: verified, partially verified, a record was found, expired, suspended, not found, needs review, or the data is unavailable.
Featured placement of XM and Vantage is paid-partnership space when an affiliate link is configured. It is not an input to the independent score. The score stays unpublished until an editor completes the checklist against primary sources.

What the paper desk means by 1 lot
A teaching contract, written down, so a demo fill is not mistaken for a broker ticket.
On the paper desk, 1 lot of EUR/USD or GBP/USD is 100,000 units of the base currency. 1 lot of USD/JPY is 100,000 US dollars. Profit in yen is converted to US dollars at the exit price. These sizes are ForexCommons teaching specs.
They are not XM's contract, Vantage's contract, or a futures exchange contract. Gold, the Nasdaq-100 index, and the crude benchmark are not tradable on the paper desk, because we do not have a quote we are willing to invent and we do not want to pretend an index point and a CFD are the same unit.
Spreads, commission, and swap are not applied while those fields are empty. A zero we did not verify is still a made-up number, so the ticket shows 'not configured' instead.
